Hiding the Pool Pump, Tidying the Poolside

The Brief

The pool equipment was the first thing you saw by the pool. Not nice to look at and awkward to work around. The owners wanted it out of sight without making it hard to service.

The Solution

We built an aluminium cover in Surfmist that screens the pump and equipment while still allowing airflow and easy access when it is needed. Made to measure, it sits neatly in the space and lifts or opens for servicing rather than boxing everything in. Surfmist keeps it light and unobtrusive and the aluminium shrugs off the damp poolside conditions without rusting.

The Result

The poolside looks calm and finished now. The equipment is tucked away, the area feels bigger and tidier and it is still simple to get to the pump when it needs a check. A neat solution to the one thing that always lets a nice pool area down.
