Poolside Privacy for a Two Storey Patio

The Brief

A two storey patio right beside the pool is a great place to sit, but it also meant being on show to the neighbours and to anyone in the yard. The owners wanted privacy up on the patio without closing it in or spoiling the look of the house.

The Solution

We screened the patio in aluminium slats in Surfmist, spaced to block the sightlines while keeping the light and the breeze moving through. Set against a two storey elevation the clean vertical lines suit the house rather than fighting it, and because it is powder coated aluminium it will not rust or need repainting beside the pool.
